Community Groups

As people come to know God and to experience His presence together in worship, community is developed and fostered, and people are nurtured, encouraged and equipped for God's work in the world. This works in both a large group and a small group context. As important as the weekly gathering of God's people for corporate worship is, we find that small groups are an important aspect of Christian worship and fellowship.

Our small groups or Community Groups are gatherings of 10 or more people primarily from the same geographical area meeting in individual's homes on a weekly basis. They provide an opportunity for intimacy with God and each other, reflecting on the Scriptures, praying together, mutual support and encouragement, and avenues for practical love and service – to one another, and to the community around us.

In short, they are basic Christian communities where discipleship, fellowship, ministry and evangelism are to be modeled carried out.
